During that first call, we can answer any specific questions, and discuss the Arooga’s opportunity. We will also cover a few key topics including the territory you have interest in developing, your business background, and your goals as an Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar franchisee. After our conversation, we will send you a Marketing Packet with additional information and a Franchise Inquiry Form.
This form lets us know that you are serious about the opportunity, and it will also give us a clear picture of your experience and background, along with your financial resources. Once the completed application is approved, we will forward you our FDD - Financial Disclosure Document.
The Financial Disclosure Document will allow you to take a good, hard look at everything about Arooga's, from our ownership profiles to our mission statement . It includes information on our corporate locations, your investment fee breakdown, and many other details regarding the operation of our business.
Within a week of your confirmation of receiving the FDD, we will contact you to schedule a FDD Conference Call. This call will give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the FDD or Franchise Agreement
Your Discovery should be held within 30 days of your FDD Conference Call. Discovery Days are held in the heart of Central Pennsylvania, where you’ll meet the Arooga's President and corporate team, we will review your business plan, and introduce you to the support and training we provide. During your visit you’ll have a personal day of discovery, giving you an opportunity to visit our locations and shadow kitchen and wait staff and get on location answers to your most pressing questions.
Next, we answer any remaining questions you may have and make a determination if you are ready to join the select team of Arooga's franchise partners.
If all goes well thus far—you like what you see and we like what you can bring to the table—you’ll be asked to sign a multi-unit franchise agreement for a minimum of 3 locations. Your locations will be developed over a specified timeframe. The signing can be done remotely and does not require a trip back to our headquarters.
With the help of our real estate team, we’ll help you find the locations that meet your demographic requirements. You’ll also receive assistance with the negotiation and contract process. If you already have a location, we will move onto the next step.
Once a site has been selected and approved, our construction management team will work with you through the building and leasehold improvement process. Our staff will also visit your site several times to make sure contractors are executing the job properly and on time.
You and four members of your management team will participate in a comprehensive training program at our Corporate Training Center in Harrisburg, PA. By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready to handle every job and face any scenario known to Arooga's.
In addition to assisting you in a open hiring event, our support team—and experienced staff—will be on-site to help get everything ready for a "soft opening", VIP party and the grand opening. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the Arooga's marketing department will help develop a pre-opening strategy to get locals excited about your restaurant’s grand opening. After the grand opening, our support team will stay on-site as your new team transitions to day-to-day operations. And the support doesn't end there, you will have your Arooga’s Franchise Business Team who will stay in touch, both over the phone and in person, to help as your business grows.
